I do not recall ‘fun’ being included as a business objective in any LMS implementation I have been involved in. Fun may have been a by-product of the successful implementation but never a primary objective. WorkPlan Learning changes all that. Learning should be fun, and WorkPlan can help you add more fun to your business culture by allowing more people to engage and contribute to learning.
WorkPlan Learning is a collaborative learning platform. WorkPlan Learning has collaboration in its DNA, it is not an add on to a traditional LMS. You have the option to use WorkPlan Learning as a more traditional LMS, but that is not how to unleash the unique features that can positively impact your organisation and the people that work there. WorkPlan Learning is designed to enable any person to have the ability to create content and share with selected people, their team or across the entire organisation. The fun begins when creativity and sharing are encouraged and embedded in your organisation using WorkPlan Learning.
You do not need me to remind you that the world of work is changing. COVID-19 hastened the speed of change, but the green shoots of comprehensive change in how we work were already appearing and, in some cases, growing quickly.
WorkPlan Learning lets people use tools they are familiar with to create content, such as videos from their mobile phones, images, presentations, etc. Creating a checklist, survey, or quiz is simple. You can do all this inside WorkPlan Learning. Designed to be simple, most people will not need training to use WorkPlan Learning, and for those that do, expertise can be gained in less than an hour. Creating content is fun because it is easy, and people can add their own creative flair if they choose to.
When people create content and courses, they want to share it with others. Their colleagues and friends can add feedback and ratings to positively recognise the author for their efforts and expertise. Why limit it to business stuff? Why not let people share their expertise in other areas like their hobbies, external activities, topics of interest etc. People love videos, so why not share a video of your camping trip or how to build a campfire? The uses are limitless. This builds relationships with a greater mutual understanding of people’s lives outside of work.
WorkPlan Learning is designed to improve the performance of organisations of all types and sizes. When developing Working Learning, we want to take it further. Working with others should be fun, and this is a positive contributor to a great culture that will attract and retain great people.
This quote from Peter Drucker says it best, “Culture eats strategy for breakfast.”
