How WorkPlan Learning Helps Your Staff Have Fun at Work

How WorkPlan Learning Helps Your Staff Have Fun at Work
Brian Clark

I do not recall ‘fun’ being included as a business objective in any LMS implementation I have been involved in. Fun may have been a by-product of the successful implementation but never a primary objective. WorkPlan Learning changes all that. Learning should be fun, and WorkPlan can help you add more fun to your business culture by allowing more people to engage and contribute to learning.

WorkPlan Learning is a collaborative platform that puts collaboration at its core, unlike traditional LMSs where collaboration is often an afterthought. While it can be used as a traditional LMS, that wouldn’t allow you to tap into the unique features that can make a positive impact on your organization and employees. With WorkPlan Learning, anyone can create content and share it with their team or across the entire organization. When creativity and sharing are encouraged and embedded in your organization, using WorkPlan Learning can be a fun way to boost engagement and skill development.

You do not need me to remind you that the world of work is changing. COVID-19 hastened the speed of change, but the green shoots of comprehensive change in how we work were already appearing and, in some cases, growing quickly.

With the ability to create content from a variety of tools such as mobile phones, images, presentations, and more, WorkPlan Learning simplifies the process of making checklists, surveys, or quizzes. It is user-friendly and requires little to no training. Even those who do need some guidance can become proficient in under an hour. Best of all, creating content is not only easy but also enjoyable, as it allows for personal creativity to shine through.

When people create content and courses, they want to share it with others. Their colleagues and friends can add feedback and ratings to positively recognise the author for their efforts and expertise. Why limit it to business stuff? Why not let people share their expertise in other areas like their hobbies, external activities, topics of interest etc. People love videos, so why not share a video of your camping trip or how to build a campfire? The uses are limitless. This builds relationships with a greater mutual understanding of people’s lives outside of work.

WorkPlan Learning is designed to improve the performance of organisations of all types and sizes. When developing Working Learning, we want to take it further. Working with others should be fun, and this is a positive contributor to a great culture that will attract and retain great people.

This quote from Peter Drucker says it best, “Culture eats strategy for breakfast.”
